Let Caring Hands process your child’s Russian registration documents with the Office of the Consular General at the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C. 

The D.C. jurisdiction covers the following states: 

Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana,
Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee,
South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

 

Please send the following items to Caring Hands:

  • Adopted child's registration application
  • One passport atyle photo
  • Copy of the final adoption papers (Notarized)
  • Copy of the child's birth record (Notarized)
  • Copy of each adoptive parent’s passport information page (Notarized)
  • Child’s Russian passport
  • Money order payable to “Russian Embassy” for $50.00
  • One pre-paid return mailer that includes a contact phone number

 

When the registration is complete, the child’s passport will be stamped and a
letter from the embassy confirming the registration will be forwarded to you.
